William and Kate’s ‘secret’ £3,300 Heathrow suite has 96 staff and Michelin menu

Prince William and Kate Middleton shared an exclusive 'secret suite' at Heathrow Airport with almost 100 staff and a Michelin-starred menu – costing a mere £3,300 a night.

The Cambridges stayed at the Terminal 5 Windsor suite with kids George, Charlotte and Louis before a much-needed half term holiday, OK! reported.

Their trip comes days after the Queen spent a night in hospital for what the Palace called 'preliminary checks'.

William, Kate and the kids got the monarch's blessing for the long-awaited holiday days after her discharge – and started the journey in style.

No fewer than 96 staff were on hand to attend to the family's needs.

That's including chefs cooking a menu designed by British chef Jason Atherton, who has four Michelin stars under his belt.

Guests paying for the incredible treatment also get their own butler, doorman and a chauffeur to a private VIP entrance to the terminal – which is at an undisclosed location.

And to put the icing on the cake, Kate and William didn't even need to go through security.

Windsor suite residents get their own security lane, which takes "about 30 seconds" to pass through according to Heathrow VIP's managing director.

Priya Malhotra also told Business Insider: "You can order from the menu as much as you want.

“You can even order the entire menu and drink me out of Dom – please do so, but I might be grumpy.”

The Windsor suite is, in theory, open to anyone.

But costing an extortionate £2,750 before VAT, not everyone can realistically get the royal treatment.

And after the year William and Kate have had – from bitter family politics to an exhausting diary of royal duties – you can see why they chose the best option on offer.

After all, the suite is named after William's gran.

It's been a year like no other for the Queen from the loss of her husband to heartache over Prince Harry. But Her Majesty has also had a lot of cause for celebration, including the birth of baby Lilibet. To mark what a year the Queen has had, OK!
