A workman has been rushed to hospital after a ‘brick fell on him’ on a building site in Sheffield.
Emergency services were called after the masonry was reported to have fallen on the man this morning.
He has been taken to the Northern General Hospital and his condition is not known.
A spokesman for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We were called to Rockingham Street at 10.30am today to reports a brick had fallen on a worker.
"We sent two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance and a hazard area response team to the scene.
"The man was taken to the Northern General Hospital."

Fire crews were also seen at the scene of the accident and South Yorkshire Police have been approached for comment.
In March a young mum was killed when a pallet of bricks fell on her from 70ft.
Kayla Boor, who had just got engaged, died days after the accident in Tower Hamlets in London.
The 29-year-old had just dropped off her son at the nearby St Paul’s and St Luke’s Church of England Primary School when she was hit by falling debris from a "building site crane."
