<\/p>\nA MAN known for gloating about eating raw meat has revealed his toddler is also a fan and likes to snack on raw testicles.<\/p>\n
Pauly Long, the self proclaimed "testicle king" recently fed them to his son for the first time and said "It\u2019s actually one of his favourite things."<\/p>\n

The one-year-old tot eased into raw meat, starting with cooked liver and working his way up to eating the bull testicles – which his dad insists is "healthy".<\/p>\n
The Bali resident – who eats a raw meat diet himself- has defended his decision to feed his child the testicles despite safety concerns.<\/p>\n
The 31-year-old believes babies have "a natural" sense of what food is good for them and thinks raw flesh makes his son have a grander stature than other kids the same age.<\/p>\n
He added that the toddler seems to sleep better after eating the uncooked meat.<\/p>\n
Pauly said that the first solid food his son consumed was raw liver- and now the tot can't get enough as he reportedly requests the strange snack by pointing at it.<\/p>\n The dad has attempted to debunk rumours that the diet is dangerous – despite experiencing food poisoning three times this year. <\/p>\n He said: "A really common myth about consuming raw meat that everyone thinks is that it\u2019s going to make you sick and give you salmonella.<\/p>\n "\u2018It\u2019s very unlikely actually because most raw meat has very active enzymes in it, which are really good for your body. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n "You lose a lot of those in the cooking process."<\/p>\n Pauly stated that if meat is sourced from a "quality provider" then there shouldn't be a risk of poisoning.<\/p>\n Heclarified he did "extensive research" before feeding raw meat to his child – and even so it still took a while to get his mother on board.<\/p>\n The dad said if it were up to him he would have introduced the diet to his toddler much earlier, but at first his partner was "totally opposed".<\/p>\n As time passed the mum warmed to the idea and the tot now eats a varied diet that consist of raw meat, chicken drumsticks and steak.<\/p>\n The "testicle king" started his raw meat journey by eating testicles as a joke but the food is now a staple of his diet and he regularly posts videos of himself eating uncooked meat.<\/p>\n The dad will not try to influence his son's choice of sustenance as he grows older and shared he is free to eat what he wants.<\/p>\n However, he is fairly confident the toddler will not become a vegetarian or vegan, because of his love of steak.<\/p>\n Pauly told the\u00a0Metro: "I don\u2019t force raw meat on him. I\u2019ve never forced anything on my kid, and I never will. I let him figure it out."<\/p>\n Dr Lawrence Cunningham from UK Care urged people not to feed their toddlers raw meat because there are significant health risks at play.<\/p>\n He said: "Feeding raw meat to toddlers is not recommended due to the significant health risks involved.<\/p>\n "Infants have sensitive and developing digestive systems that may not effectively handle raw foods, especially meats.<\/p>\n "In addition, consuming raw meat can expose infants to harmful bacteria, leading to potential food borne illnesses. It\u2019s always best to thoroughly cook meats to ensure they are safe for babies to consume.<\/p>\n "Whilst meat has usually been introduced by this point, raw meat hasn\u2019t. The risks I outlined, particularly around choking and bacteria, still exist, so on balance, I\u2019d still recommend waiting until they are older."<\/p>\n Following this Health said that followers of the carnivore diet typically eat just meat, with no carbohydrates, vegetables, fruit, grains or nuts. Some also have dairy and fish.<\/p>\n It warned people who live by this eating regimen miss out on fibre, antioxidants and vitamins. <\/p>\n It added that lacking in these nutrients can affect a person's immunity, digestion, circulation and cognitive function.<\/p>\n Pauly is not the only person to advocate for a meaty diet.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/msemail_jd_foodie3jpg-JS604453651.jpg\")
