Dragons' Den star Hilary Devey has reportedly left no money to loved ones in her will, despite her estimated net worth of a whopping £80million.

The star died at the age of 65 in June 2022. She had been at her holiday home in Marrakesh, in Morroco.

Hilary, who had been battling a long illness, left just material items, such as jewellery, to those she loved – including a friend, her son, publicist and lawyer. She made her millions after launching Pall-Ex, a palletised freight network.

But no cash was left in her will, which was made in 2021 a year before her tragic death. Friend Audrey Mulligan was left her famous diamond cross.

According to Daily Mail, her personal affects were left to her son Mevlit Brewster-Ahmet, her publicist and her laywer, who acted as trustees. It is reported that the three of them could then distribute her estate the way Hilary had detailed in a letter to them.

The contents of those letters will reportedly not be made public, though. Hilary's Pall-Ex business has made millions, with it turning over gross profits of more than £10m in 2021.

Her success saw her feature on The Secret Millionaire in 2008. On the show, she donated more than £70,000 to Rochdale's Back Door Music Project and the Syke Community Centre.

She went on to join Channel 5 as the presenter of four-part documentary The Business Inspector. Showing even more of her charitable side, she used the show to help struggling businesses and transform them into profitable companies.

Hilary joined Dragons' Den in 2011 but quit in June 2012 after landing a two-year contract with Channel 4. There, she hosted a new series called The Intern in which she gave young people a trial in the job of their dreams.

It didn't do too well with ratings, though. Later she fronted Running The Shop.

Then in 2015, she joined Loose Women as a guest panellist but only appeared for a few months. Aside from television, Hilary campaigned for a number of charities, like Carers Trust and the Stroke Association.
