THE LONDON Dungeon has an exciting new show in time for Halloween.<\/p>\n

And we spoke to a woman who works as the senior actor, who has revealed where to find the scariest areas.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

The London Dungeon has been scaring tourists for nearly 50 years.<\/p>\n

And with Halloween just around the corner, the tourist attraction has revealed a brand new experience.<\/p>\n

The Exorcism of Peter Moore, which is running until October 31, tells the tale of Peter's wife and brother who need help exorcising their home.<\/p>\n

And we spoke to Anya, a senior actor at the London Dungeon, who is one of the many people who bring to life the reenactments of the 1,000-year history of London.<\/p>\n

She told Sun Online that the gruesome facts of the torture chamber are what usually shocks guests the most. <\/p>\n

One of the most horrific is the \u2018pear of anguish\u2019 torture device which was put in traitors mouths, where a screw would be turned, opening the leaves and shattering their teeth and jaw.<\/p>\n

Anya said even she was shocked herself when she read the script for it.<\/p>\n

However, she said: "The best scares are when it's completely
out of the blue."<\/p>\n

And one of the best is her favourite show, The Curse of the Witch, which launched last year.<\/p>\n

The show tells the story of Elizabeth Sawyer, a Londoner accused of being a witch after killing her neighbour, and is waiting for her execution.<\/p>\n

But scaring people isn't the only unusual part of the job – with even some celebs being spotted at the dungeons.<\/p>\n

It turns out that none other than the current prime minister Rishi
Sunak is a bit of a thrill-seeker, after visiting the attraction when Anya was working in the tour's Mitre Square scene.<\/p>\n

Although it's spine-tingling, it's all in the name of "scary fun" and so the actor encourages all visitors to make sure they step forward into the space and immerse themselves in it.<\/p>\n

She said: "You\u2019ll get the best experience if you just move a little bit closer, and throw yourself in it."<\/p>\n

But Anya admitted she found the best way to get a scare out of someone is to be unpredictable – so if you notice some quiet time whilst down in the dungeons – watch out!<\/p>\n

Applicants will then need a self-tape, as well as attendant in-person auditions.<\/p>\n

The London Dungeon has two rides as well as 14 shows, with tickets from \u00a329.50.<\/p>\n
