Lady Judy Martin, the wife of the late Beatles manager Sir George Martin, has died at the age of 95.<\/p>\n
The former Abbey Road secretary died on Sunday,\u00a0seven years after her husband passed away in 2016.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Leading the tributes, the Liverpool Beatles Museum has tweeted: ‘Very sad news to hear of the passing of Lady Judy Martin. Reunited with George.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘Our thoughts and prayers our with\u00a0the Martin family. May she RIP.’<\/p>\n
Lady Judy and Sir George met on his first day working at the\u00a0EMI Studios in 1950, where she worked as a secretary.<\/p>\n

They tied the knot at the Marylebone Registry Office in June 1966 and shared two children, Giles and Lucie.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sir George, known as the ‘Fifth Beatle’, died aged 90 on March 8, 2016.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He was said to have died peacefully at home in Coleshill, near Swindon, then leaving behind his second wife Judy and his four children.<\/p>\n
He helped The Beatles achieve global success while head of the Parlophone record label after hearing their demo tape in 1962, taking a chance on the young band when they had been refused by every other record label.\u00a0<\/p>\n
After the death of the legendary music producer, his widow Lady Judy was closely supported by family and friends.<\/p>\n
But in 2018 she endured a terrifying incident as she was watching television on her own late at night at her Oxfordshire home.<\/p>\n
She heard the sound of breaking glass and saw two masked men smashing their way into her conservatory.<\/p>\n
She quickly made her way upstairs and locked herself in the bathroom, where she dialled 999 after discovering two intruders at her house.<\/p>\n
Uniformed officers arrived with sirens blaring within minutes, forcing the pair to flee empty-handed.<\/p>\n
Despite support from a police helicopter with a thermal imaging camera, the suspects escaped.\u00a0<\/p>\n
