Matthew Perry\u2019s ex-fianc\u00e9e Molly Hurwitz believes he \u201cthrew away\u201d their relationship, according to an insider.<\/p>\n

Their engagement, which lasted less than a year, allegedly came to an end in 2021 when Hurwitz discovered Perry had been flirting with a 19-year-old girl on the exclusive dating app, Raya.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, she is heartbroken over his death,\u201d a source close to Hurwitz said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe loved him and just like anyone else would feel in her instance, wishes things would have been different.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider claimed Perry had wanted a stable relationship and a family but failed to act in a way that would make a future together possible.<\/p>\n

They were engaged in November 2020, but it came to an end just a few months later the following summer when footage of Perry and the young woman\u2019s flirty exchange was leaked online.<\/p>\n

\u201cMatthew claimed he wanted this family and to be loved forever by one woman, but he had that with her until he threw it away,\u201d the source told the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n

TikTok user Kate Haralson exposed the footage, claiming they matched on Raya in May 2021.<\/p>\n

She captioned the video exposing Perry: \u201cWhen you match w Matthew Perry as a joke on a dating app and he facetimes you and plays 20 questions with you.\u201d (sic)<\/p>\n

\u201c[Hurwitz] caught him talking to a teenage girl on a dating website and he became defensive,\u201d the insider claimed.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir split was not amicable, but Molly doesn\u2019t blame him, nor does she harbor any negative feelings.\u201d<\/p>\n

After their engagement was called off, Perry said in a statement: \u201cSometimes things just don’t work out and this is one of them. I wish Molly the best.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following Perry\u2019s death, Hurwitz took to Instagram with a tribute for the comedy star and remembered his career and their relationship together.<\/p>\n
