BONFIRE night is upon us and you are sure to remember, remember the fifth of November after visiting one of these cracking firework events.<\/p>\n

So grab your hat, coat and camera\u2009.\u2009.\u2009.\u2009 here\u2019s what\u2019s going on near you.<\/p>\n

SOUTH EAST: <\/strong>If you are in the Southampton area, make a beeline for Mayflower Park tonight. <\/p>\n

The city\u2019s display, right on the quay, is expected to be explosive in more ways than one.<\/p>\n

There will be funfair rides for the children, food stalls and live music hosted by Zoe Hanson.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the show cost from \u00a36 for kids under 17, \u00a310 for adults. Children under two go free. <\/p>\n

SOUTH WEST:<\/strong> Wrap up warm, grab a mug of hot chocolate and watch Guy Fawkes burn on top of the bonfire at Plymouth Hoe.<\/p>\n

There will be rides for adults and kids, as well as traditional fish and chips being served up throughout the evening. <\/p>\n

The gates open at 4pm, but the bonfire is lit at 7.30pm and the firework display is at 8pm. <\/p>\n

MIDLANDS: <\/strong>Anyone who books a ticket to the Fireworks Spectacular event at Alton Towers will automatically gain entry to the Staffordshire theme park. <\/p>\n

So you can enjoy the whirling rollercoasters and kid-friendly rides before settling down for a display accompanied by music, lasers and lights.<\/p>\n

The event takes place today and tomorrow, 10am until 9pm, and tickets cost from \u00a344pp. See altontowers.com.<\/p>\n

NORTH EAST: <\/strong>Now in its \u200afifth year, the seated \u201cpyromusical\u201d show at 11Arches promises to \u201clight up the night skies\u201d above Bishop Auckland this evening. <\/p>\n

The experience will feel festive, too, with fire pits dotted around and vats of mulled wine.<\/p>\n

Gates open at 4.15pm today and the show starts at 7pm. <\/p>\n

Tickets cost \u00a312 for adults and \u00a36 for under-18s. <\/p>\n

NORTH WEST:<\/strong> Manchester\u2019s Freight Island will not only have crackling fireworks, but also a fire garden with scorching sculpture trees and flame-lined paths.<\/p>\n

If visiting tomorrow, you will be able to tuck into a roast from the onsite carvery. <\/p>\n

There is a molten cheese tub to pour over those pigs in blankets and sage stuffing.<\/p>\n

The Bonfire Night event will take place today and tomorrow. <\/p>\n

Tickets cost \u00a335 for a family of four, \u00a312 for adults and \u00a38 for kids under 17.<\/p>\n

LONDON: <\/strong>Some of the major firework events taking place in the capital this weekend may have sold out.<\/p>\n

But there is still space at Richmond Rugby Club, which is throwing a huge family friendly bash.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme is Monarchy, with fireworks set to music fit for a king. <\/p>\n

There will also be rides, mulled wine, hot food and an after-party.<\/p>\n

Tickets for tomorrow\u2019s event cost \u00a312 for adults and \u00a36 for kids under 16, while kids under five go free.<\/p>\n
