<\/p>\nA DUPE of the viral underseat hand luggage bag is on sale for less than \u00a33 on Temu.<\/p>\n
Budget airlines like Ryanair and\u00a0easyJet\u00a0only allow passengers to carry one personal item on board for free.<\/p>\n

Because many airlines charge customers for a carry-on suitcase, holidaymakers have been attempting to make the most of their free hand luggage allowance. <\/p>\n
This time last year, social media platforms like TikTok were awash with users raving about the Narwey Duffel Bag. <\/p>\n
The viral bag can easily be placed under airline seats, meaning there is no need to pay for extra baggage. <\/p>\n
Holidaymakers were quick to describe the bag as a "lifesaver" and a "game-changer" because of the space inside the bag. <\/p>\n
TikTok users posted videos of themselves cramming a week's worth of clothing, toiletries, and other travel essentials into the small gym bag.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, I tested out the bag on a five-day trip to Bratislava in Slovakia<\/span> and\u00a0Vienna\u00a0in Austria<\/span>. <\/p>\n I was impressed with the bag's almost unbelievably spacious interior – although the handles and straps left a lot to be desired. <\/p>\n Back in February, I purchased the bag for \u00a315.99 on Amazon. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n While the price of the bag has dropped slightly to \u00a313.59 in Amazon's Black Friday Sale, there's potentially a newer, cheaper, contender in town. <\/p>\n Online retailer Temu has launched its own version of the bag, and it's on sale for just \u00a32.68, which is an 83 per cent discount on its original price. <\/p>\n Unlike the Narwey Duffel Bag, the Temu version doesn't have a catchy name for users to type into the search bar. <\/p>\n Instead, the bag is referred to as the "1pc Portable Travel Storage Bag, Foldable Carry-on Luggage, Travel Bag Weekender Overnight Bag, Sports Gym Tote<\/span> Bag," – which is a bit of a mouthful. <\/p>\n There aren't many details about the bag on the website either.<\/p>\n One photo lists its dimensions as 32cm by 16cm by 48cm, which would make it too big to fit under a plane seat, while other photos show the bag sitting perfectly on top of a cabin suitcase. <\/p>\n Even if this bag is slightly too large for the free hand luggage requirements, there are plenty of other alternatives on the Temu website, including a smaller version, which does meet Ryanair hand luggage rules for \u00a31.78. <\/p>\n The bags have received a 4.6\/5 star rating from more than 243 reviews on the Temu website. <\/p>\n One person wrote: "It's lightweight, spacious and foldable. It will be perfect for my upcoming three-day holiday."<\/p>\n While another added: "It's a brilliant wee bag, it fits so much." <\/p>\n Despite customers being told that they can "shop like a billionaire" on the ultra-budget website, Temu isn't without its faults. <\/p>\n Earlier this year, Sun Features<\/span> Writer Miranda Knox investigated the ultra-budget retailer. <\/p>\n She wrote: "The site has been dogged by negative reviews, claims of undelivered parcels, poor customer service and, most concerning of all, an 'extremely high risk' of forced labour." <\/p>\n Temu, the US offshoot of Chinese e-commerce giant PDD, can offer unbeatable prices because of its access to the PDD supply chain and factory network.<\/p>\n However, a US congressional committee report has warned that Temu\u2019s suppliers could be using forced labour in China\u2019s Xinjiang province.<\/p>\n It is there that the\u00a0Chinese government\u00a0has been accused of genocide, targeting the\u00a0Muslim Uyghur\u00a0people.<\/p>\n There are other concerns surrounding Temu too, including damning reviews written by its customers. <\/p>\n Sun journalist Miranda Knox wrote: "On TrustPilot, the app scores a fairly reasonable 3.5 stars out of five \u2014 but 31 per cent of users give it just one."<\/p>\n For those Brits who feel uneasy about purchasing a bargain travel bag on Temu, there are plenty of other alternatives on the market. <\/p>\n One of those is the Kipsta 20L sports bag, which can be purchased on the Decathlon website for \u00a36.99. <\/p>\n On its website, it is described as: "a great choice for a compact gym bag or lightweight cabin bag".<\/p>\n It also has an overall rating of 4.7\/5, with more than 860 people rating it four or five stars.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, this is\u00a0how much luggage\u00a0you can take on board a Ryanair flight.<\/p>\n And\u00a0this 20p trick\u00a0can help you avoid having to pay extra for your luggage.<\/p>\n Here are the eight best carry-on cases to buy this Black Friday, according to travel experts.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/newspress-collage-24722015-1699890425573.jpg\")
