Green Day<\/b> have scored their 8th No. 1 on Billboard<\/i>‘s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, with “The American Dream Is Killing Me” topping the tally.<\/p>\n
“The American Dream Is Killing Me” rose from the 3rd spot to the No. 1 position on the chart dated November 25.<\/p>\n
The track reigns in its fourth week on the list, making it the third song to reach No. 1 in four weeks or fewer in 2023 following Linkin Park<\/b>‘s “Lost” in March and Foo Fighters<\/b>‘ “Rescued” in May.<\/p>\n
“The American Dream Is Killing Me” is the first No. 1 on Mainstream Rock Airplay for Green Day since “Oh Yeah!,” which reigned for two weeks in April 2020. <\/p>\n
“The American Dream Is Killing Me” is the lead single from Saviors<\/i>, Green Day’s 14th studio album, due out January 19, 2024. It’s the band’s first LP since 2020’s Father of All Motherf****s<\/i>, which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart.<\/p>\n
