<\/p>\nCHRISTMAS is just around the corner and shoppers have started stocking up on festive treats.<\/p>\n
If mulled wine is your favourite tipple this time of year we can reveal where you can get a bargain.<\/p>\n

The traditional Christmas drink is stocked in most supermarkets and usually, you can get a bottle for under a fiver.<\/p>\n
So if you are looking to start December off with a mulled wine and a mince pie we have you covered.<\/p>\n
We have scoured the supermarkets and rounded up the best deals we could find on 75cl bottles of mulled wine.<\/p>\n
Some outlets do larger sizes but we stuck with this one as it is the most common size.<\/p>\n
Remember that prices can change all the time, especially at this time of year, so it is best to do your own research.<\/p>\n You can use comparison sites such as Trolley.co.uk to check the online prices of items across different supermarkets.<\/p>\n We did our price checking online, but you might be able to get better deals in the actual store.<\/p>\n Most supermarket websites have a store locator where you can find your nearest if you are unsure.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Here is a list of the best deals we found on mince pies including who is the cheapest.<\/p>\n Tesco's festive option is the Vineyards Mulled wine priced at \u00a33 for a 75cl bottle.<\/p>\n It is described as "sweet and fruity with subtle spicy flavours".<\/p>\n Tesco recommends warming slowly in a saucepan over a gentle heat and ensuring you do not boil as this will spoil the flavours.<\/p>\n Morrisons Winter Warmer mulled wine is the cheapest around at the moment.<\/p>\n It costs just \u00a32.50 for a 75cl bottle on Trolley.co.uk and the Morrisons website.<\/p>\n The wine is described on the website as having a "smooth texture" and being blended with the finest ingredients.<\/p>\n Sainsbury's is getting in the festive spirit with their \u00a33.50 bottle of mulled wine.<\/p>\n The label is definitely an eye-catcher and it is described as "a warming aromatic wine spiced with cinnamon, cloves and ginger."<\/p>\n This was the most expensive compared to the other supermarkets.<\/p>\n If you are looking to try a new flavour in mulled wine this year Aldi has a mince pie and Jamaican rum flavour priced at \u00a32.89 for a 75cl bottle.<\/p>\n The discounter also has gingerbread flavour for the same price and a larger 1ltr bottle of traditional Gluhwein for \u00a35.99.<\/p>\n You cannot buy online from Aldi so you will need to pop down to your local store if you want to get your hands on this one.<\/p>\n Baywood mulled wine is priced at \u00a32.69 on the Lidl website, and makes it the second cheapest next to Morrisons.<\/p>\n It is only available to purchase in-store so as with Aldi you will need to go to your local supermarket if you want to pick up a bottle of Lidl's mulled wine.<\/p>\n Lidl also has a 1ltr bottle of Christkindl Gluhwein for \u00a35.99<\/p>\n Iceland's Harvest Fruits mulled wine has a four out of five-star review on its website.<\/p>\n It is priced at \u00a33.45 so it was the second most expensive compared to other supermarkets at the time we checked.<\/p>\n You can buy online from Iceland but do take into consideration delivery costs.<\/p>\n As well as the cheapest deal we can also reveal which supermarket mulled wine won in our taste test.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, one Christmas fan put 134 mince pies to the test to see which one fared best.<\/p>\n Also, if you are counting the days till December we tested chocolate advent calenders and one gives an extra heartwarming feature that is great for kids.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/sad-state-affairs-m-s-858658288.webp?strip=all&w=360&h=240&crop=1\"\/)
