Benidorm legend and exotic dancer Sticky Vicky has died aged 80, seven years after she was diagnosed with cancer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sticky Vicky, whose real name was Victoria Mar\u00eda Arag\u00fc\u00e9s Gadea, leaves behind her devastated daughter\u00a0Mar\u00eda Gadea Arag\u00fc\u00e9s.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Mar\u00eda, who announced her mother’s death on Facebook, followed in Sticky Vicky’s footsteps and performs X-rated acrobatic shows in the tourist hotspot Benidorm.<\/p>\n
The exotic dancer took over her mother’s business – and adopted the now famous name Sticky Vicky – after she was diagnosed with cancer in 2016.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Maria lives and works in Benidorm, Spain, and followed in her mother’s footsteps by working as an exotic performer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She took over from her mother’s business when she retired in 2016 – and adopted the name Sticky Vicky as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Maria said in 2021 that she decided to use her mother’s performer name Sticky Vicky because copycats had tried to copy their acts to make money in the tourist hotspot.<\/p>\n
She told the Daily Star at the time: ‘I decided to do her show when everyone wanted to take advantage of her name and lie to the public about who her daughter was.<\/p>\n
‘My intention was to ally myself with my mother to be stronger, and to shut up the liars.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Maria revealed in 2021 that she watched her mother perform for the first time when she was just 14 years old.\u00a0<\/p>\n
During her mother’s show, Sticky Vicky would pull a variety of\u00a0objects from her vagina, including ping pong balls, razor blades, eggs, handkerchiefs and machetes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘I liked the show and I had no idea I could do something like that. I remember she was super shy and worried about what I would think,’ Maria said in 2021.<\/p>\n
‘I told her that I loved seeing her and I liked her show. It never phased me to see her doing a daring routine, my mind was already open and mature.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sticky Vicky – or\u00a0Victoria Mar\u00eda Arag\u00fc\u00e9s Gadea – is the mother of her daughter Maria and son Eduardo, according to reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, unlike his mother and sister, he has kept out of the spotlight and little is known about him.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Maria announced her mother’s death on Facebook today.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She wrote:\u00a0‘I regret these words, my mother Sticky Vicky passed away today at 6 in the morning, I can’t believe it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘She has gone, surrounded by her family, with all of our love.<\/p>\n
‘I thank God for being able to always be by her side, I am left with a broken heart.’<\/p>\n
