This is the terrifying moment two drugged-up thugs shot at police during a 14-hour siege after taking a delivery driver hostage because their kebab was cold.<\/p>\n
Paul Burton, 45, and Nathan Turner, 37, were jailed after firing sniper-style air rifle at a police car and dumping police over the vehicles from an eighth floor flat in Bedford, near Milton Keynes.<\/p>\n
The pair – who had been drinking and taking drugs – demanded the courier give them their money back and trapped him in a lift, only releasing him an hour later when the shop’s owner came to collect him.<\/p>\n
In video live-streamed on Facebook\u00a0Burton accused the driver of being late and forgetting the salad, The Sun reports.<\/p>\n
And – shortly before 6am – they confronted a neighbour with the weapon after she knocked and kicked\u00a0\u00a0their door to complain about the blaring music.<\/p>\n

In the coming morning, Burton fired the air-rifle at a police car – piercing the windscreen and narrowly avoiding a dog handler who feared for his life.<\/p>\n

The pair’s behaviour was described as ‘lawless anti-social behaviour’ in Luton Crown Court.\u00a0<\/p>\n

William Durrands, mitigating, said that Turner had suffered a bereavement, had been separated from his family and was bi-polar.<\/p>\n
And Burton’s lawyers said he had a history of substance abuse and mental health problems.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Burton pleaded guilty to attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and two counts of possession of an imitation firearm to cause fear of violence as he was jailed for seven years in early October.\u00a0<\/p>\n
And\u00a0Turner, 37, of Bury Court, Bedford, pleaded guilty to affray and five counts of criminal damage, as he was sentenced to 20 months in prison.<\/p>\n
He is likely to have been released almost immediately after serving time on remand.<\/p>\n
