A young bride-to-be has been slammed online after publishing a list of things ‘people have gotten mad about’ in the lead up to her wedding.

The woman was looking for sympathy but her ‘outrageous’ list had the opposite effect and was even re-posted to a wedding shaming group.

The list included a cash bar and making guests ‘clean up’ if they were still around when the party wraps up.

‘Note none of these are by people coming to my wedding or by those who were invited,’ she said.

To begin the list she revealed there would be no rehearsal dinner and that there would be no food for the bridal party before the reception.

A bride-to-be has posted a list of the decisions which ‘people complained about’ ahead of her wedding

‘My girls know to eat breakfast before they show up and that none of us are eating lunch,’ she said.

She also mentioned she will not be getting her wedding party gifts.

On top of that she said people hated the fact her ceremony is 90 minutes long, there’s a three-hour gap between the ceremony and reception – and if you don’t make it to the ceremony you aren’t welcome to the party.

She said the ceremony starts at one, which was another complaint – and that reception ends at 10 and that guest won’t receive thankyou cards in the mail.

‘The point of this post it to show that no matter what decisions you make people will get upset.

‘Don’t lose sight of what matters. Do what works for you and your wedding party.’

The original post was unpopular – as was the screen shot which was posted to a popular wedding shaming group.

‘They are tearing her up in the comments and she is just being obstinate and rude,’ one woman said.

‘I knew this would end up here,’ added others.

People couldn’t believe the list of demands.

‘The icing on the cake, if you’re there at the end of the reception, you get to help clean’ one woman said.

‘The way I would walk out on anyone who insisted I, as a guest at their event, clean up with them…. but with all the other trash I probably wouldn’t be there in the first place.’

‘She said no matter the decision people will be upset.. then listed every single unpopular wedding decision. Sweetie, those invited to your wedding and your wedding party are mad at you as well,’ another added.

‘Making one of these decisions anyone could blow off but making ALL of them? I would really be thinking of how I could get out of the wedding rather than attending,’ said another.

Some said she would regret them.

‘No food and a 1.5 hour ceremony? She is going to pass out,’ one woman said.

Shocked that she wouldn’t be offering her guests anything in the three-hour window either.

Others were shocked by the lengthy service – but others explained ‘full mass’ ceremonies can take that long.

‘I have gone to weddings now as an adult where there ceremony was like 15 minutes and have to remind myself that not everyone is Catholic or Orthodox,’ one woman said.

But others couldn’t see a problem with the list.

The woman was furious with the reactions

‘I don’t get it. Here in Europe (Sweden at least), her list would be standard at most weddings. Maybe the reception would run slightly later,’ said another.

In another post she defended her rules.

She explained there is no way she and her partner can clean up the wedding space in 30 minutes – and that they have to be out of the venue by 10.30.

She said she and her bridal party won’t be eating getting ready because of the risk of spilling something on the dresses.

She will then be too busy going for photos to eat before the reception.

‘No one has said a word that is actually going. Some have said they like the ideas,’ she added.

She said physical thank you cards were not in the budget.

‘But thankyou for doing exactly what I said people have done,’ she said, signing off.
