2023’s edition of Radar Festival left music fans completely enamoured.

Mystery boys Sleep Token took to the stage on the first night, cementing the weekend as the place to be for up and coming artists with massive followings.

Well, buckle up, Radar Festival 2024 has just confirmed its first batch of artists hitting the stage in Manchester next July, and it’s an incredible collection of musicians.

The Midnight, from Los Angeles California, have been announced as Radar Festival 2024’s headline act, marking what may be their first-ever UK festival appearance.

The band are no strangers to the UK, though; they have a passionate following and have continued to play bigger and bigger venues each year they return.

With their latest album, Heroes, selling more copies than any of their other albums, this could be the beginning of The Midnight’s reign over Britain, starting at Radar Festival 2024 from July 26-28.

Also on the line-up are some massive artists including Sungazer, Blood Command, Dirty Loops, Tribe of Ghosts, and the monumental Giant Walker.

Radar Festival’s co-organiser, Joe James, said: “Here we go, headliner number one – THE MIDNIGHT! We have been working on this one for a year and are delighted to get it over the line. Bringing synth royalty with their 80s vibes straight to Stage One, we’re so excited for our Friday night to ooze fun whilst we finish the first day with RADAR dancing straight into a neon haze.”

James added: “We’re also delighted to announce Sungazer, the electrojazz duo who bring their dreamy pop to lighten the mood and wow us with their musicianship. RADAR is always keen to support new music and unpeople have garnered a strong reputation already so we couldn’t wait to invite them to share the beginning of their journey with us all. Expanding the party are RADAR alumni Humanity’s Last Breath, alongside death-pop legends Blood Command and industrial newcomers Tribe Of Ghosts.”
