{"id":189707,"date":"2023-12-11T16:12:38","date_gmt":"2023-12-11T16:12:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsneednews.com\/?p=189707"},"modified":"2023-12-11T16:12:38","modified_gmt":"2023-12-11T16:12:38","slug":"fight-breaks-out-at-aintree-racecourse-as-security-stand-and-watch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsneednews.com\/world-news\/fight-breaks-out-at-aintree-racecourse-as-security-stand-and-watch\/","title":{"rendered":"Fight breaks out at Aintree racecourse as security stand and watch"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1> Shocking moment fight breaks out at Aintree racecourse as punters throw punches and kicks at each other while security guards just watch on<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Jockey Club said those involved in brawl had been immediately removed\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Do YOU know the people involved? email matt.strudwick@mailonline.co.uk\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is the shocking moment a fight broke out at Aintree racecourse as punters throw punches and kick each other as security guards appear to just watch on.<\/p>\n<p>The mass brawl took place on Saturday during a &#8216;private event&#8217; at the home of the Grand National.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Footage posted on X viewed more than two million times show security guards in G4S branded high-vis jackets with one speaking into a walkie-talkie watching as a group of men start swinging punches at each other.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A man in a grey top appears to be trying to break up the scuffle only to be smacked in the face as more punches are swung at him.<\/p>\n<p>He grabs hold of the attacker only for a second man to come in and punch him clean in the face where he then appears to lose his footing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Do YOU know the people involved? email matt.strudwick@mailonline.co.uk\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/11\/15\/78825769-12850579-image-m-39_1702308214127.jpg\" height=\"753\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>A fight broke out at Aintree on Saturday with punters throwing punches and kicking each other as security guards appear to just watch on<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/11\/15\/78825771-12850579-image-m-43_1702308435974.jpg\" height=\"819\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The man in the grey top (right) appeared to be trying to cool things down only to get punched in the face<\/p>\n<p>A third man holds a pint glass with his drink sloshing around as he tries to intervene in the melee which spills out through a door into another carpeted area with some stairs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The camera pans back round where a man in dark clothing viciously kicks a man in the stomach as he tries to get to his feet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the background a man wearing a light-coloured jacket is kneeling on top of someone on the floor swinging punches. He then gets to his feet and tries to kick him.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The camera then moves back to the other area where two men are punching another man as he huddles over in protection.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The ugly brawl was described as &#8216;shameful&#8217; by one social media user.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Another said: &#8216;With this and the state of images of a Friday evening in the average English town centre I\u2019m surprised we don\u2019t have a plague of locusts coming our way\u2026&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>A third questioned why the security guards didn&#8217;t appear to get involved.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/11\/15\/78825757-12850579-image-m-41_1702308360847.jpg\" height=\"800\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>At one point a fight spilled out into another area where two men continue to throw punches at a third man as he huddles over to protect himself<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Cracking job done by the security guys in the yellow jackets &#8211; hope they didn\u2019t get paid,&#8217; they wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A fourth suggested he had witnessed the fight and said: &#8216;I witnessed this yesterday &amp; it reaffirmed my decision to go Saturday racing never again.&#8217;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Merseyside Police told MailOnline the incident was not reported to the force and it had been dealt with by the security team.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Jockey Club said those involved in the brawl had been immediately removed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We&#8217;re passionate about providing safe and enjoyable experiences for all on our racecourses and operate a strict zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of anti-social behaviour,&#8217; they said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;There was an isolated instance of such behaviour yesterday which was dealt with by our security teams.
