Eamonn Holmes’ co-star Isabel Webster tells viewers ‘forgive me’ for health woes
Isabel Webster, who hosts GB News’ Breakfast show alongside Eamonn Holmes, has admitted she “didn’t go to sleep at all” before fronting the programme this morning, and begged viewers to “forgive me”.
Sharing a picture of them both smiling for the camera from the studio, Isabel, 40, wrote: “Thank GOD for my wingman @eamonnholmes – helping me through today ! Insomnia last night means I didn’t go to sleep AT ALL.”
She continued by joking: “Pls forgive me if I go cross eyed before the morning is over…”
Isabel’s admission follows Eamonn, 63, giving a health update of his own as he shared that he is feeling “helpless”.
In an interview with Best magazine, Eamonn said: “Well, I can walk if that’s what you mean (50 steps, to be exact),” he explained.

“But I now accept life is easier with help from others. Getting around with crutches is exhausting. I wish I could walk further but, for now, I can’t.”
However, it seems that the former This Morning host remains hopeful despite his struggles with chronic pain.
“The good news is the op last year cured me of my back pain… I lost full mobility. I’m doing everything I can to get better. But it’s slow.”
Elsewhere in the interview, he said that he gets mocked by people for using a mobility scooter to get around.
He explained: “Well, some people were mocking me on social media last night. ‘Oh, look at Eamonn, he’s in a mobility scooter!’

“I replied, saying: ‘I would prefer if I wasn’t in it but how else would I have got around?’
“The alternative is I don’t go anywhere, and I sit in my armchair, work in the office.”
Earlier this month, Eamonn slammed his former employer, ITV, ahead of the premiere of their new dating show, My Mum, Your Dad.
During one GB News segment, he and Isabel were joined by Christopher Biggins, who said: “They’ve got no bright ideas these television people.”
Eamonn was quick to agree, and called the broadcaster “the worst”.
“I agree with you [Christopher]. I mean, ITV are the worst,” he fumed. “If it’s not Ant and Dec, or it’s not Simon Cowell…
“Or it’s not Bradley Walsh on The Chase, they’ve got no other ideas!”
