Prince Harry and Meghan Markle beam as they reunite with Oprah at star-studded event

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were pictured beaming on Friday, as they attended a charity event for first responders.

The One805 Live! event was hosted by actor and film producer, Kevin Costner at his $26 million polo field in Santa Barbara.

The Californian city is also where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their two children, Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two, reside.

The royal couple were just two of the many famous faces in attendance at the star-studded do.

Most notably, they reunited with their friend Oprah Winfrey, who interviewed the pair back in 2021 as part of their tell-all bombshell chat.

The couple were also pictured a short distance away from their other celeb pal, presenter Ellen DeGeneres.

Even pop star Katy Perry's parents were amongst the prestigious guests, who took their chance to ask Harry and Meghan for a quick selfie in the VIP section.

Harry and Meghan weren't just regular attendees, however. They also played a role in the ceremony and were invited onstage as special guests.

There, the Duchess presented host Kevin with an honorary award, before heading back out into the crowd for a 'meet and greet' style appearance.

Meghan wore a monochrome poncho-style jacket with the collar turned up and a pair of black capri trousers. She styled her hair in a sleek low bun with some gold hooped earrings and kept her makeup minimal.

Harry, meanwhile, sported a black shirt, black trousers, and a black blazer.

Following the couple's responsibilities, it was reported Harry headed back to the VIP section to dance as Meghan chatted away to other attendees.

The event continues the busy few weeks the royal pair have recently had.

The pair have just touched returned from Düsseldorf, Germany, where Harry's annual Invictus Games were held. The Prince's time has also been occupied with the release of his new Netflix docu series, Heart of Invictus.

For those who haven't seen it, it follows the journeys of six people who competed in last years games.

As well as playing an important role in the games, the couple did manage to let their hair down while in the German city.

On 15 September, Harry celebrated his 39th birthday with Meghan and some of his Archewell team in a traditional German brewery where they sampled 'family style' dishes.
