I hate my £40 heated airer – I bought it to stop using my tumble dryer but it’s driving me mental | The Sun

THEY'RE selling out across the country as people are hoping they can use them instead of their tumble dryers.

But one woman who forked out for a heated airer has admitted it's driving her "mental".

Kelly took to TikTok to share her thoughts about the airer she'd bought, as she said she'd even got a cover for it too.

"I thought in an ideal world, I'd be putting the clothes on before I go to bed and then I wake up in the morning, and the clothes are dry," she said.

"Is it f**k! It's not dry.

"I have to turn it every couple of hours – it's just driving me mental!"

I tried a heated airer to see if it was more economical than my tumble dryer

Kelly went on to say that while someone had recommended the DrySoon from Lakeland, she wasn't sure about getting one because they're expensive when you factor in the cover too.

"I don't know what to do," she mused.

"I need one I can put the clothes on overnight, I get up in the morning and it's dry and it doesn't cost the earth to run.

"Like this one cost me like 7p an hour, which is fine. I can leave that on overnight. That's fine.
