IF you are obsessed with lemon drizzle cake, a woman has claimed to have found the perfect recipe for an air fryer.

And the best part is that it only takes 30 minutes before you can tuck into a warm slice.

Jess uploaded a video which said: “Enjoy a moment of calm with me whilst I bake this.”

All you need is six ingredients that you may already have in your cupboard: two lemon zests, 200g caster sugar, 200g self raising flour, 200g butter, two eggs and two tbsp lemon juice.

First take the lemon zest and mix it thoroughly with the sugar.

Once it has been incorporated, add the flour, butter, lemon juice and eggs.

Use a wooden spoon to mix the ingredients and then add it to a dish that is lined with parchment paper.

Jess, who posts under @jessdoinglifee, showed how she needed two small dishes to fit in each of her air fryer drawers.

She set her machine at 160C for 30 minutes in bake mode.

After this time, she removed her lemon drizzle cake and let it cool, before dusting with icing sugar and drizzling lemon and sugar on top.
