I’m a size 22 – people assume I hate my stretch marks & flabby bits but they couldn’t be more wrong, my body’s beautiful | The Sun
A BODY-POSITIVE influencer has revealed she loves every inch of her body – from stretch marks to fat – and hopes to empower other women to do the same.
Poppy Adams, who lives in Edinburgh, regularly shares her plus-sized shopping hauls and styling tips on Instagram (@poppyadams).
She aims to inspire her 142,000 followers to "love and accept their bodies".
And she's hit out at the constant conditioning women face to hate so-called imperfections.
In a recent Instagram post, she said: "There is beauty in every single body.
"Chances are you just find it hard to see it in your own.
"There’s beauty in (not in spite of); fat, flabby bits, marks, scars, spots, psoriasis, double chins, redness, bruises etc.
"It’s just that we’ve been conditioned to hate them.
"Speak to your body as if it’s someone you love, kindness is key baby."
Poppy posted bare-faced pictures in a pair of satin short pyjamas to show her psoriasis scars on her legs.
