    Christmas is fun for all the family – including our furry friends.

    Eight in 10 people (77%) admit they don't "want their pets to feel left out" on the big day. While many will be buying presents for their fur babies, a whopping 57% are making them their own festive dinner.

    And this year, one in five Brits (18%) will spare no expense – spending more on their four-legged friends than they do on their partners!

    So what are the most popular pet gifts of 2023 predicted to be? Petplan surveyed 2,000 people to find out – and these are the results.

    Top 10 pet gifts of 2023

    1. Food & edible treats
    2. Chew toys
    3. Cuddly toys
    4. Balls
    5. Homeware (i.e. beds and blankets)
    6. Bones
    7. Personalised items (i.e. collars and bowls)
    8. Catnip or dog balm
    9. A scratch pad
    10. Pet clothing
