Strictly star Dianne Buswell issues statement after fans spot her ‘crying’

Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has broken her silence after many of her fans saw her “in tears” during a results show.

In the Instagram post, Dianne wrote: “Extremely grateful for another chance to dance and to show you what this amazing boy can do. I don’t take any day or dance for granted [prayer emoji]. I want to thank everybody who took the time to vote for Bobby and I, we appreciate it more than you know.”

Buswell continued: “Despite a dance off, that was Bobby’s highest score and he is improving week on week. He started this thing with zero experience so what he had achieved is pretty incredible. We have something pretty special for you all this week, coming up.”

Dianne was spotted crying on the show and many of her Strictly fans said that they wanted to “give her a hug” after she was left in the bottom two alongside partner Bobby Brazier.

Luckily for them, the Strictly judges opted to save them and their co-stars Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington were sent home. Fans rushed to comment on Dianne’s Instagram post as they left her messages of support

One fan typed: “I’m not sure how or why you guys ended up in the dance off, you have so much support, but please don’t let it knock your confidence as you’re incredible and you’ve produced amazing dances. Have the best week and enjoy every second,” before signing off with a row of kisses.

More comments flooded in as fans wrote “bring on next week,” told the dancing pair they “deserve the absolute world” and informed Dianne that they “sobbed” when she was announced in the dance off.

Other followers couldn’t resist telling the redhead that she’s “their favourite” and that they “couldn’t believe” the couple were left in the bottom two. Someone else urged Buswell to “come back even stronger than ever” and said they “can’t wait to see what they have in store” for the weeks ahead.
