The cause of death of This Morning contributor Matty Lock has been revealed just weeks after his sudden passing.
The 19-year-old TV star died by suicide, an inquest into his death has heard.
He was regular guest on the ITV daytime show, sharing his passion for mechanics, particularly vacuum cleaners, and also a "dedicated" Labour councillor. Matty's sudden death on September 8 shocked the community and colleagues at This Morning.

Daily Express report that a hearing into his death in Sefton was told on Friday (October 20) that in the year prior to his death "there had been concern about his drinking and use of ketamine, for which he did not want any help". Toxicology results revealed he had taken both prior to his tragic death.
The publication state that police were "satisfied" there was no third party involvement in his death and Sefton Senior Coroner Julie Goulding concluded a verdict of suicide. Following his death a spokesperson for This Morning paid tribute.
They shared on Instagram: "Everyone at This Morning is shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Matty Lock, aged just 19. He was a delightful young man, a joy to work with and his passion for vacuum cleaners and general mechanics was infectious. His family came to the studio and they were so proud that he’d turned a childhood hobby into a career. We will miss him and send our condolences to his family."
Former This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby penned at the time: "Just so unbelievably sad… such a lovely and talented young man… sending my love to his friends and family, this must be such a difficult time." During his time on the programme, Matty said that he had the passion for vacuum cleaners since the age of four, when he was given one as a gift.
He reviewed different models of vacuums from his home live on air, discussing the pros and cons of each machine, as well as some live demonstrations of the suction powers. Matty was a member of the Labour Party in Sefton and Merseyside and was elected as town councillor in Maghull.
He was also a parish councillor in Lydiate. Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner, who had been pictured campaigning with Matty, paid tribute online and said: "Incredibly sad news, Matty did so much for his community.
"My love and prayers are with his friends and family." A tweet from the Labour North West account added: "I want to express our deepest condolences at the loss of Cllr Matty Lock. He had his whole life ahead of him, with huge potential, who I know was admired and loved across our party. "Our thoughts are with his mum and dad and family at this difficult time."
