He was taken to Waverley police station and charged with one count of contravening a restriction or prohibition of an apprehended violence order, NSW Police said in a statement.
O’Keefe was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.
The 51-year-old has been in and out of court in recent years on drug and assault charges, and spent four months behind bars on remand after he was charged with a choking assault on another woman in his Sydney CBD apartment on Kent Street in January last year.
