Cops find 11 adults and four kids crammed in car without seat belts on

Police discover 11 adults and four children crammed inside car that looked ‘overloaded’ (and NONE of them are wearing seatbelts!)

Shocked motorway cops have revealed the moment they pulled over a car to find 15 people, including four children, packed inside – all not wearing a seatbelt. 

Police stopped the ‘overloaded’ seven-seater Vauxhall Zafira as it travelled through Cheshire this morning.  

North West Motorway Police posted about the incident after spotting the motor on the M62 with two people for every seat in the motor.

The driver and 10 other adults not wearing seatbelts in the cramped car were issued Traffic Offence Reports.  

In a Tweet the motorway cops wrote: ‘This vehicle was stopped by a Cheshire motorway patrol on M62 as the vehicle looked overloaded. They were shocked to find 15 people in the vehicle (including children), all unrestrained.’

Cops later tweeted about their ‘shock’ after finding the packed motor 

A spokesman for Cheshire police told MailOnline: ‘At around 11.30 officers stopped a black Vauxhall Zafira on the M62 near to junction 9, Winwick.

‘Upon approaching the vehicle officers found that there were 15 people inside the car (11 adults and four children) who were not wearing seatbelts.

‘Officers escorted the vehicle off the motorway and all the adults were issued with Traffic Offence Reports.’

News of the bizarre pulling over left people on social media astonished, with one saying the officers’ actions ‘may well have save a lot of innocent lives’. 

Another person wrote: ‘How on earth did 15 fit in that!?! I can’t fathom how it was possible!!’ 

’15!!!!! How? Like one of those Russian dolls?’ wrote anther on X, formerly known as Twitter, while a third added: ‘Zafira or a clown car? How on earth do 15 people fit in that?’

Others appeared to see the lighter side of things, with one person joking: ‘You should notify the Guinness book of records!’ 

Another added: ‘They need to go on Britain’s Got Talent with that trick.’
