XL Bullies on the rampage ‘circle pram and storm school’ before attacking dog
A pair of XL Bully-type dogs on the loose allegedly lunged at a woman's car, entered a school and circled a child's pram before trying to attack another dog.
Police responded to an incident in Sheffield yesterday (December 13) after the canines were seen running around in the street and causing mayhem. Pictures were uploaded to social media in the wake of the incident with many taking to Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) to criticise the incident.
Bully Watch UK shared clips of the seemingly abandoned pooches on X, writing: "Two Bully XLs with no collars and no leads loose in Sheffield this morning. Circled a pram, attacked another dog and then went and entered a school."

Officers were also spotted loading the dogs into the back of their vehicles after nearby residents sounded the alarm. Cops confirmed they had attended the scene following reports of another dog being attacked by the beasts.
They added the pair had been taken to kennels and enquiries were still ongoing. A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said of the incident: "We were called this morning to reports that two dogs, believed to be XL bullies, were loose in the street on Cradock Road in the Arbourthorne area of Sheffield.
"We also received a separate report that two dogs, which are believed to be the same dogs, had tried to attack another dog on nearby Northern Avenue. Officers attended and the two dogs were seized and have been taken to kennels. Enquiries are ongoing to seek to locate the owners."

Meanwhile X users were outraged by the scenes. One wrote: "Sadly we are going to see a lot more of this as owners dump their Bullies."
Meanwhile another chimed in: "For goodness sake. Hope the attacked dog is OK and no other casualties. Where is the responsible dog ownership?"
The reports come ahead of the introduction of a controversial XL Bully ban, which comes into force from December 31. From that date, breeding, selling, advertising, rehoming, abandoning or allowing an XL Bully dog to stray will become illegal.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said earlier this year a "pattern of behaviour" had prompted the ban. "It is clear this is not about a handful of badly trained dogs," he said.
"While owners already have a responsibility to keep their dogs under control, I want to reassure people that we are urgently working on ways to stop these attacks and protect the public."
