Young girl holds aloft AK-47 as crowd celebrates bloody Israel invasion
Israel launches strikes on Gaza
In a shocking video posted online, a young girl was seen holding an ak47 and handgun surrounded by celebrating Palestinians.ย
In the video reportedly filmed in the West Bank, a proud father lifted his child onto his shoulders.
The young girl was seen waving both an assault rifle and a handgun.
In another video, men from the West Bank were captured singing and raising assault rifles into the air.ย
There is also footage of women from Gaza, wearing headscarves, lifting a rifle above their heads while shouting.
Reports, though unconfirmed, suggested that the rifle might have been obtained from a deceased Israel Defense Force (IDF) soldier.
Distressing images from Israel depict civilians grieving over their loved ones’ bodies, with at least 100 Israelis killed, the country’s rescue agency has said.ย
But at least 232 people in the Gaza Strip have been killed and at least 1,700 wounded in Israeli strikes, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.ย
Hamas fighters took an unknown number of civilians and soldiers captive in Gaza in harrowing scenes posted on social media videos.
Graphic photographs also reveal the lifeless bodies of Israelis along roadsides and beneath bus shelters, with the walls and ground stained red with their blood.
Palestinian officials say that retaliatory strikes carried out by Israel following the Hamas assault have killed 198 people and injured close to 1,610 others.ย

โThis was always the nightmare. We told ourselves that one day, the terrorists will come inside here,โ said Jehan Berman, a 42-year-old in the small community of Avshalom near Gaza.
It took eight hours, he said, for the Israeli military to arrive to his kibbutz and start fending off the Hamas fighters.
Berman, who suffers from multiple wounds and disabilities inflicted by the past four wars between Israel and Hamas over the years, said Israeli authorities notified him that Hamas kidnapped his 75-year-old mother-in-law, along with several friends in their 30s and their small children.
The last time he heard from his mother-in-law was 10:30am, he said, when she called him, panicked and distraught, to say that Hamas militants had shot and killed her husband.
