A DIY bug buster has shared her three-ingredient solution to rid her house of nasty gnats.

Her potion was a super-easy and cheap way of banishing these annoying flies from her home.

She admitted that she had had just about enough of them.

"They get on my last nerve," she said with some exasperation.

But she had found an easy and cheap way to get rid of them.

Claire McBryde Bryan (@clairembryan) describes herself on her TikTok as “married and blessed.”

But she wasn't very blessed when it came to insects invading her home.

“Does anybody else have annoying gnats in their house?" she asked in her post.

Claire, however, had something up her sleeve.

“I can help you get rid of them," she promised.

She used only three ingredients in her bug buster: white vinegar, Dawn dish soap, and white sugar.

They were all added to a bowl: “Stir together and wait for it,” she wrote.

“This mixture will attract gnats and they will drown in it.”

Sure enough, the results were clear at the bottom of her bowl.

One commenter offered another solution.

“Fresh garlic cloves and hot water has worked in the past," they said.

Meanwhile, this person explained how it worked.

“It’s the sugar they want. Also, know that white vinegar is a natural cleaner and disinfectant. Friendly information.”
