The Disneyland Paris restaurant that fans say is better than the £10K-a-year private members club | The Sun

FOR those who can afford it, there's a very exclusive club you can join at Disney World, whose members include the likes of Tiger Woods and Katy Perry.

However, some fans who have been lucky enough to sample its top-secret benefits have said that a restaurant at Disneyland Paris is actually a much better experience.

Club 33 is an extremely private lounge that allows high profile and wealthy Disney fans the chance to dodge the crowds at the magical kingdom, while enjoying gourmet food and luxury drinks.

The price to join this fine dining establishment and rub shoulders with the A-list is an initial upfront fee of $25,000 (£20,209) and then $10,000 (£8,083) every year after, according to Mouse Trap News.

Even if you have the cash, it could take you a while to get in, with rumours of a waiting list several years long online.

You may also not be allowed to enter Club 33, with the Disney World website stating that it may not reply to those who contact them about membership.

Here’s how to bag the cheapest deals to Disneyland Paris in 2024

It says: "As membership opportunities are evaluated, Club 33 may contact you for further information."

However, for those after a fine dining Disney experience, there could be a much better option available, that doesn't come with an astronomical entrance fee.

Walt's – an American Restaurant – is described as "a Victorian-style tribute to the life and work of Walt Disney" and can be found on Main Street in Disneyland Paris.

It is themed around Walt Disney, and the various lands of Disneyland, and serves "sophisticated and contemporary American cuisine, with European influences".

And it's no surprise that it's so popular, with Disney Tourist Blog stating that it's a much better choice than Club 33.

In a blog post, writer Tom Bricker wrote: "Walt’s – An American Restaurant is better than Club 33.

"I would rather dine at the general public restaurant on Main Street at Disneyland Paris that pays tribute to the park’s lands and life of Walt Disney than I would the posh and private eatery above the plebs in New Orleans Square."

Tom went onto claim that this would be true, even if money weren't an issue. He simply believes Walt's offers a "better-themed experience".

He added: "If you’ve been itching to drop tens of thousands of dollars in initiation fees, plus thousands more each year, for the experience of Club 33, instead drop a couple thousand on airfare to Paris and a meal at Walt’s."

He's not the only person to sing the praises of Walt's either, with DLP Report agreeing.

They wrote: "Walt’s is not only one of the best restaurants on the small turn-of-the-century street, it also pays an incredible tribute to Walt Disney, as it is filled with countless memories."
