I work at Ralph Lauren – my 3 tips for looking expensive in the fall and the inelegant trend to avoid at all costs | The Sun

A FASHION fan has shared the three items to add to your fall wardrobe for an elevated look.

The Ralph Lauren worker showed her followers how to make their style look more elegant.

In her video, TikTok user Antonia Higham (@antoniahigham) revealed the "three ways you can look expensive this autumn."

For her first suggestion, she explained: "Working for Ralph Lauren one thing that is nailed into us is the importance of layering.

"This brings me to the gilet, you can opt for the more practical outdoor one or one for occasions that are a lot more elevated."

Antonia recommended layering the vest over a turtleneck or sinching it at the waist with a belt.

She explained to viewers that her next fashion tip might not be for everyone.

"I personally love the flat cap, saying this, I would only wear it for extremely casual occasions for example outdoor activities or walking," Antonia said.

She advised her followers to pair the item with riding boots and a gilet for "a winning combination."

For her final tip, Antonia advised her followers to invest in a good scarf.

The fashion pro explained to her audience: "Accessories play a huge part, ladies."

She continued: "This could be anything from a silk scarf to a cotton scarf, all depending on the occasion.

"And if you want that little bit of warmth ladies, these look great tossed over the shoulder or sinched at the waist with a belt."

Antonia recommended steering clear of "huge knit bulky scarves that almost drown and swallow you."

She explained: "Avoid these at all costs, these are not feminine nor elegant."
